the family feels more complete to me..and pretty glad she's still pretty much the same except for the obvious ABC slang inculcated into her..haha..its really cool though..i wished i could speak like that too..haha

manage to catch up with her quite a few times which was great. a little outing at paragon, sr gardens, bishan park, xin wang @ yishun, the memorable paintball and go kart in JB, the fun filled KL trip and oosh..dunno if i missed out any other meet ups..

glad to have gathered quite a bit of people to meet up those few occasions too..

money issue sucks..always will be a black stain in any relationships...gotta becareful..i must remind myself that people are not as shui bian as i think..do not take it for granted.

that's y i am still trying to achieve financial freedom..so that these things don't happen to me again..

on another note..i think that a lot of things never really worked out for me ever since i tore my ligament..everything seems to be getting worse..

something must have gone wrong somewhere..i must reflect deeply..

hopefully the old saying of, if you're at the bottom of the hill already..there's nowhere else to go but up...works for me..

Yea..its a draw but you should have seen how Newcastle played after going 2-0 down. I haven't seen them played like this since Bobby Robson times. They showed the attack at all cost football which made them so pleasant to watch in the past is back. Its incredible!

At a time when I was asking myself, how, why and when did I start supporting Newcastle, and I couldn't find an answer..or rather, I couldn't remember the answers.....this match refreshed my memories and reminded me just why I support them.

The player's dogged determination to win...the fans' passion and undying support...its all so much like the feeling i experienced during ihg.

I will go watch a match at St Jame's Park one day.

READING striker Kevin Doyle has revealed that the Toon Army are the loudest set of supporters he has ever played in front of.

The Irish frontman was part of the Royals side which was beaten 3-2 at St.James' Park last season when Turkish midfielder Emre fired the Magpies winner six minutes from time.

And, with 52,000 Geordies again set to fill St.James' this weekend, Doyle is anticipating another noisy affair.

"It's the place where I've heard the most noise when anyone scored. It was deafening last season," said the 24-year-old.

"We were winning and the place was quiet and I thought it wasn't all it was cracked up to be and then they scored and I just remember it being the loudest it has ever been in any stadium - definitely more than Croke Park. You could not hear yourself think.

"It was a wall of noise and was strange because we were playing well and it had been quiet. The way the stadium is designed makes the crowd sound louder.

"I suppose if you are out on the touchline about to take a thrown-in or a corner you will get a bit more abuse, but when you are playing you don't really notice it.

"It doesn't put you off and the Geordies aren't nasty, but it was just scary that it could go from quiet to a wall of noise. All the lads said the same thing.

And Doyle admits the Royals are expecting a tough test given United's recent turnaround in fortunes.

"They have their tails up now and they all seem happy again having come into some form," he added.

"The pressure is off them a bit now, but that might be a good thing. They are three points ahead of us and one more win means they will be safe.

"I don't know if that will make them relax and play better, but we will be up for it.

"People always say they are not the strongest defensively, but when you win 4-1 like they did against Tottenham it doesn't matter how your defence plays.

"They are more into attacking football and showing what they can do going forward. They hadn't been doing that for a while, but have got that back now after Sunday."

yup..his world tour dvd is out..and its the taipei version..there's quite a bit of noticeable difference between his taipei concert and singapore one..good and bad though..for example..look at the 4 bloodly hot tai meis below..the singapore one only has 2 and not as pretty..haha..but the singapore leg has a few more songs though..

the verdict is..go get it..its gd..and i think the shanghai one will be released too..hopefully singapore's one too..hong kong one i'm not too sure..he held 7 shows there..how to release? haha

Here's me with his "gong zai"..quite cute right..haha..hell lot of pple were queuing to take photos with him..

anyway theres a prob with this bloody website and i cant upload any more photos..so maybe i'll try again next wk or what..

back to the concert..i was in row 12 and not bad..pretty near to the front...waited quite a while before the 1st performance started the ball rolling..

it all started with huang jing jia..from the movie with chow yun fatt..damn power..immediately psyche up the whole crowd and everyone started standing...and from then on..there was no more seating down..thats how passionate the fans were that night.

fans were like running up to the barrier every now and then and although the security manage to get them back..but after a while..they gave up..the front was so crowded out by fans moving from all over the place that the security couldnt really do anything abt it too..or maybe they actually allowed it to happen..i dunno..but if so..its a really gd move..cause it really made the atmosphere high..the fans were practically singing along during the whole concert and at times it was really loud..you know..when jay like held the mike towards the fans, urgin us to sing along, you can really hear the fans singing in harmony..

the screams..needless to say is equal if not louder than dragonfly or phuture etc...and as i turn to look ard the whole indoor stadium..i saw the whole place litted with all kinds of lightsticks..damn cool..of course i had one myself too..haha

his performance was really entertaining..lotsa costumes and props and dancers..and also some surprises too~ for example..when he sang the ting ma ma de hua..he actually showed a clip of chow yun fatt and jacky cheung made for this concert..damn interesting..and also during one of his songs..some really hot dancers came down the stage into the crowd and dance with the fans..male fans..lucky guys!

it will take me the whole night to describe the whole concert so yah..i just wanna say basically it was damn worth it. he ended the thing with 3 encores, the last songs being huo yuan jia and shuang jie gun..the whole crowd was going "huo huo huo"and "he he ha hi"..damn high man..haha..and he came down the stage to hi five the fans too..

cant wait for his next concert..and yes..i will buy the dvd for this concert when it's released..wonder which country's concert will be the one released..sg's concert is his bday concert btw...

One of the best in the series of Final Fantasy game..probably the last of it on PS2..great new gameplay..with a new battle sysem.. and a cool storyline..

Final Fantasy's artwork has always been very impressive.

the fun thing about playing RPGs..esp final fantasy to me is because it really absorbs you into the fantasy world..lets your mind wander and fill your mind with imagination..

i believe one should never stop playing video games..

Got the album and yes..its entitled 我很忙 which means "i very busy" hah..interesting. Its a great album..a slight change of style but the jay taste is still there..world class.

check out the song "我不配". not one of the 主打yet but its one of the best with a very nice mtv..the lead girl is the girl from "secret"..《不能说的秘密》女配角曾恺玹..not the xiao yu..but the qing yi...

Yup..as you can see..I'm a member now.
hahahaahah..WHY??

simple logic..if u leave yourself to your so called discipline to keep fit and stay healthy..most probably its not gonna work in the long run.
HOWEVER..if you spent money on it..you will not want to waste the money and therefore you will use the facilities and the programs offered.

and GUESS WHAT..the equipments are really good and the environment is really conducive. they play quite a number of channels in their cardiovascular zone. meaning i was watching match while running on the threadmill. it really makes time pass faster you know..

and then there are all these classes where u can go for free as a member..you just have to follow the schedule..different timings for different outlets..havent been to any yet but they sure look fun and challenging..examples of the classes are:
BODYCOMBAT® BODYPUMP® BEACH BODY BODYLICIOUS STEPTACULAR
sounds damn cool right!! hahah...

and to end it all..nothing beats the suana and the steam bath..WORLD CLASS SHIOK! and they provide shower gel and shampoo in the shower room.
in conclusion..i think its money well spent..(i got the 1 yr get 2 yrs free membership)..there are babe to chk out too...haahaha

visited the office and studios of ESPNSTAR in singapore.

they are pretty well hidden in lor chuan..in new tech park. although they only occupy one level..its pretty huge already..

it isnt as glam as i thought it would be though..haha..but every employee has a tv with all the espn and their partner channels around the world..shiok lah i tell u..its like live of the live telecast lidat..anytime..

pity i didnt get to see any celebs..oh..managed to catch a few glances at charlie webster..thats her name i think..looks much better in person..could have caught colette wong and jason,,you know..the sportscenter pple if i had stayed longer..but i'm really most disappointed that i didnt get to see paula malai ali..the formula one presenter..shes damn hot lor!! ahaha

but anyway..the studios are cool and the places where they broadcast the feed to all the countries are cool too...

for those who have ch 55 on SCV..hasn't it been just wonderful these days with damn nice serials..

apparently this show broke the viewership records in korea.

a very interesting show about a divine healer (in mandarin u call then shen yi..you know..god doctor) and a fortune teller trying to save the pugilistic world from bad guys.

one very good thing about these chinese shows..esp all those in ancient china and martial arts settings..is that the girls are damn pretty in those costumes and look. hahha..i'm right..right??

and of course not forgetting the oscar winning english dramas that finally started their new season..

Prison Break Season 3...as good as ever. I guess the producers heard the audiences..this show should be breaking out of prison and yup..michael's at it again..in an apparently tougher prison to break out of now..yay!!

The story is about a high school student Ye, whom had studied in the school which coincidentally was where his father was headmaster at. Ye’s piano skill was unmistakably a notch above others. NUS IVP Past vs Present..great to see my mates again..

anyway luckily nothing went wrong..no hard tackles on me..still managed to sprint every now and then..not bad huh..haha..but i didnt do much lah..had few moments with the ball..but the feeling of being able to play again was great..

went cheese prata shop after the game for dinner and catching up..it was nice..

knee feeling abit sore now..but it'll go away soon..hope one day it'll be at least 90% good..

some call it act of god..

a mth ago or so..it seems so bleak and i really thought nobody wants me..

in a space of 2-3 weeks..i was called up for 6 interviews..went for 3 first and one of them offered the earliest. pretty decent offer and the workplace is damn near my home..so i agreed to it real soon.

the next day after i agreed, 3 more companies called me to ask me to go interviews and my..they are pretty big companies k..but thinking that it might take up to probably another couple of weeks before i get some answers frm them..i therefore rejected all 3 of them for the interview and stuck with the one i agreed on. y not right..its so near and the terms arent tt bad..

the final straw came today..one really big company called mi and just offered me a position..sorta like head hunted i guess..haha..but i had to reject!!! then they sounded quite disappointed which made mi feel even worse~~ i had no choice..i had signed with the first company and will have to pay up a month salary if i decide to back out..i sell everything i have now oso not enough to pay..

haiz..i have been telling or rather, consoling, myself..trying to convince myself that good companies recruit later..haha..i dunno how right i am til now man..now the fact that everyone keep saying don't rush into signing..wait for the right one..it all sounded so risky and all that one should sit back and really wait for a once in a lifetime offer..now it really make sense..

haiz..not tt the one i signed is lousy or wat..its pretty not bad..just that this latest one is probably more prestigious and better prospects..

but you know what..i have managed to console myself yet again with those 2 words..天意..or the all so familiar words always uttered by my B4 neighbour for 3 years.."act of god"

..in mahjong...

not that i'm a loser in it or what (really!) but i never play mahjong one..i learnt the basic rules etc when i was pretty young but i never played it competitively (means play money) most of the time. The inexperienced me decided to try my luck in TH when jioed by chip and aaron..den lose jiat lat jiat lat..den i decided that i should pick up some tactics on how to play it properly so as to not be so lousy..

chinese new year i follow my sister and mum and watch them play..den learn and pick up bit by bit..den i tried my luck again at yongfeng's place..lose money overall but got game a few times..den played with the same guys again on sat and i was the biggest winner..hahah

ok...i shall not get complacent...

The individual unit design has finally been handed up.

definitely wasn't the best report but hell..it still took a helluva effort to get it out...

so prof..you better appreciate it...

i was lying dead for 6 hours after i handed up the report and came back to my room..i didnt remember anything that happened during those time..but what i heard was my groupmates came to my room and printed using my printer, phonecalls and conversations i cannot recall, chip come in and out and take my kettle...only god knows what else happened in my room during that time..

havent slept much past week...term papers and presentations and fyp and design project....
they are all very very very time consuming...and mentally draining....
cant blame me for being forgetful and all this period i feel...i am cramping so many things into my brain man...u know how difficult it is to read all those science journals and have to understand what the f**k they're talking about...then have to spend days and nights on the powerpoint and word and excel and adobe only for comp to hang...
hungry nights and no one pities u...lucky i can relax and let go a couple of hrs a day relaxing with the guys with ps2..credit to my honey for getting mi the tv..hhaha..up laH~
tough and still not over yet..not even soon....sucks...
but its ok..i will survive..i'm the man..the bull!!

came in winning and went off winning...no regrets...

certainly a good experience for the younger ones who havent tasted victory prior to this..but i guess things aren't the same as it was in the past but guess thats the way life is..old things go..new things come...maybe they'll replace the link bridge celebration with something else...

pretty sad the the link bridge thingy is so sloppy..no communications watsoever to ask everyone to come..pple simply went back to their rooms and went for their dance or prod rehearsals..c'mon! i'm sure the victory celebration takes priority over everyother activity!! but thats the older generation's thinking..guess the younger ones have other ideas..well..so be it then..but i really like the feeling at src during the prizing giving..its as close as it gets to the feelin i felt during yr1 and 2...

hope the name and spirit of TH is upheld in years to come..

i took up the job of girl's soccer coach originally because i torn my knee ligament and meniscus and i knew i wouldnt be able to play in any sports this year but yet i felt like doing something worthwhile and fulfilling.

taking up this job wasn't really that hard a decision to come to because it was something i always wanted to do and try out.

i was a little uncertain at first but it got better as i started to know all of you better and somehow i was able to know what to do with you all during trainings..haha.

winning it as a coach is different from winning it as a player. the sense of fulfilment is different but i really dunno how to describe it. its like as a coach, you'll get heart attacks when watching from outside but i didn't get this feeling when i was playing in last yr's finals against RH. and as a coach, you're always constantly thinking and trying to come up with solutions when things doesn't go right..and it is different from being a player where the solution u try to come up with is how to get past the opponent or how to score the goal. and it gets better when the things you come up with and the decisions u make works!

in the end you all gave me an unforgettable experience..thanks to all of you.

ok..now for my personal favourite moments..

1. huihui's equaliser against KR...we would not have won the tournament without that goal. it would end up having 4 wins and 1 loss and KR with 4 wins and 1 draw. well done lah HH!

2. the way we played against EH..its was purely a treat for the eyes.

3. Kim perpetually keeps getting injured. first the muscle pull..then the knee into the thigh..ouches! hope you're getting better miss crowd favourite. (ok..to clarify..its not my favourite moment that u get injured k..it just means the events i remember more clearly..haha)

4. all the cheers those at the side keep making..it was great.

5. the mud party at the end for me. thanks A4 for helping me with the laundry..hehz

anyway..other than my players..i would like to thank welfare comm, convening comm, some JCRC pple(like PJ and kwan aik) and those who helped out in one way or another.

Congratulations to you all..you all have won it for the team for the hall and for yourselves..i'm sure its always a memorable experience to win something..esp something that you worked hard for. and also congrats for being the clear cut soccer champs for the 1st time(no penalties or whatsoever to decide the champ)..and the 1st time for beating EH.

On sunday, what i saw wasn't simply soccer players in all of you..i saw warriors..fighting every moment you are on the battlefield. Words cannot describe how proud I am of all of you. Its an honours to be able to have all of you as my players and to be your coach. Its true when I keep saying that having you all make my job easier. Its every coaches' dream to be able to have players always willing to listen and improve and willing to go the extra mile.

I can safely say safe all of you deserve the medal that you all have won. Not just those who played a big part..everyone of you! My only regret was that I am unable to play everyone of you and not give everyone as much playing time as I would have liked to. And also not being able to have everyone who joined to be in the first 18. Hope you all will forgive me for this, i did everything i could and what i thought and felt was for the best for the team. But i must say that no one should belittle their own contributions. Each one of you was chosen by me specially because i saw something in you and that you are able to contribute to the team. By turning up for trainings and doing what i've instructed..you have already made the difference.

I know many people joined soccer originally for many different reasons. for some,its ur passion, for some its because tts what you're good at, for some its to learn something new, for some its to accompany your friends or make new friends, for some its simply to get some CCA points...but whatever the reason is..i'm sure you all went away learning something and became a richer person.

I'm very glad to see how our team have evolved since last year till now. How strangers became teammates and friends..how a group of diferrent people are able to get organised and work together to achieve a common goal..and how you all improved over this period of time to be worthy of being the IHG champions.

once again..congratulations to all of you and wish you all the very best next yr.
