First game in more than a year

NUS IVP Past vs Present..great to see my mates again..

anyway luckily nothing went wrong..no hard tackles on me..still managed to sprint every now and then..not bad huh..haha..but i didnt do much lah..had few moments with the ball..but the feeling of being able to play again was great..

went cheese prata shop after the game for dinner and catching up..it was nice..

knee feeling abit sore now..but it'll go away soon..hope one day it'll be at least 90% good..

some call it act of god..

a mth ago or so..it seems so bleak and i really thought nobody wants me..

in a space of 2-3 weeks..i was called up for 6 interviews..went for 3 first and one of them offered the earliest. pretty decent offer and the workplace is damn near my home..so i agreed to it real soon.

the next day after i agreed, 3 more companies called me to ask me to go interviews and my..they are pretty big companies k..but thinking that it might take up to probably another couple of weeks before i get some answers frm them..i therefore rejected all 3 of them for the interview and stuck with the one i agreed on. y not right..its so near and the terms arent tt bad..

the final straw came today..one really big company called mi and just offered me a position..sorta like head hunted i guess..haha..but i had to reject!!! then they sounded quite disappointed which made mi feel even worse~~ i had no choice..i had signed with the first company and will have to pay up a month salary if i decide to back out..i sell everything i have now oso not enough to pay..

haiz..i have been telling or rather, consoling, myself..trying to convince myself that good companies recruit later..haha..i dunno how right i am til now man..now the fact that everyone keep saying don't rush into signing..wait for the right one..it all sounded so risky and all that one should sit back and really wait for a once in a lifetime offer..now it really make sense..

haiz..not tt the one i signed is lousy or wat..its pretty not bad..just that this latest one is probably more prestigious and better prospects..

but you know what..i have managed to console myself yet again with those 2 words..天意..or the all so familiar words always uttered by my B4 neighbour for 3 years.."act of god"

Finally..

I got called up for interviews..don't think i fared badly..so hopefully i get some decent offers..
