FREEDOM
Power Tricyle! a.k.a. 动力三轮车!!
This blog is dedicated to our nite at velvet/zouk/phuture on wed nite..
Credit to tong for the idea and chip for his on-ness..barely a few hrs back from thailand, he immediately accepted our invitation for the nite. What a right choice.
The night started out slow with us hanging out in velvet having a couple of drinks with our coupons and joined soon by Paul. Soon it was 11..the magical hour..Midnight Madness! haha..we wasted no time in reaching the bar next door in zouk. We went to the bar at the top. Siying and sheerene managed to find us soon after they reached. Me and Tong wasted no time in queuing up for drinks. Jugs and shooters and heinekens soon filled the table we're at.
We had fun drinking and finger guessing with each other and drinking our hearts out!
Got a little high..but damn it..the hour was over and money was drained. Each of us spent abt $100 each man still cannot get drunk. Too good guys!
Saw quite a number of familiar faces that night too. Sorry couldn't talk much, had a mission to drink with my brothers. haha.
Finished the night at Phuture and thanks to Paul we had a ride safely back to Hall.

Not gonna be easy this time round...
An interesting story to share
Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.
One student, however, wrote the following:
First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving
As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different Religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell.
With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.
This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate that the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it?
If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you, and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number 2 must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct..leaving only Heaven thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night,
Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God."

Happy Birthday Clarice!
Newcastle Power!!!
Newcastle's mini revival continues with an FA cup 1-0 victory over Southampton. Watched the match while working in Devil's Bar. 1-0 was a flattering scoreline for the saints man. In the first half we were practically bombarding them. They had a good spell during the 1st half of the 2nd half though but we broke the deadlock! Dyer is BACK!! His goal ensures they still have a chance for glory this season especially for Alan Shearer who couldnt play in that match, what a pity.
Lets move from strength to strength Magpies!! The Toon Army will be behind you!!
Back after tired weekend..
Met 3 Russians from Moscow last night at work. One of them was really a babe man..haha. Couldn't really understand their English though..they spoke in really heavy accent. Took a long while before understanding they actually just want whisky and redbull. The 3 were really into R&B man..started to dance wildly as soon as my DJ started spinning all the hits. And as expected..lotsa guys crowded around her but in the end a couple of ang moh guys won the war. Think they're from US. They had difficulty communicating too from what I observed...hahah...
Getting bored already..think the soccer will start late..stupid aaron isnt even back from Orchard yet. He still claims to be able to travel back within 10mins. Tua Kang Man(Big hole man)..hahah..hope you read this bro! I suspect you are the fake lohhhberttt together with ChipO!

The Fat Round One is at it again!
GREATNESS
A man is as great as the dreams he dreams,
As great as the love he bears;
As great as the values he redeems,
And the happiness he shares.
A man is as great as the thoughts he thinks,
As the worth he has attained;
As the fountains at which his spirit drinks
And the insight he has gained.
A man is as great as the truth he speaks,
As great as the help he gives,
As great as the destiny he seeks,
As great as the life he lives.

Long Long Day in the Lab
Lab was generally boring. Have to wait and wait and wait for results. The worse thing is results come out wrong and have to do again. Lucky it didnt happen to me. But it happened to my Post grad attached. She's a pretty nice lady from Bangladesh. Helpful and intelligent. Always help me tend my experiment when I go out. haha..lucky me.
Overall the sessions this week have been successful. Manage to obtain what my prof set out for me to do. Albeit it took longer hours than expected.
Tong is begging for one more round of winning eleven. I won one (Roma beat Chelsea) and he won one(Man U beat Chelsea) just now. Think I shall grant him one mroe match to teach him a lesson. hahahah...stay tune for the results!
Anyway my honey is coming over soon. Miss her lots..

And on to my bad mood...yes i know i still have 2 tuts..but i must say this..
The Blk E RF is a bl**dy a**h*le. No wonder he has such a round stomach! Only know how to take many tupperwares to comm hall kitchen to kapO all the nice food. No need pay money to stay hall still can get all the free nice food. We pay so much fucking money yet must restricted to everything. If only he didnt take so much food, even if he paid I'm fucking sure he took more than he is entitled for, perhaps we can have more. And fancy stopping people from working out and having fun playing sports, when he himself needs to engage in these activity the most. And yes he enforcing the rules, but he is definitely not the most tactful person around. Learn from uncle Vincent you old rounded man! Hope you read my blog! Hope one day ball smash into your face and shatter your old man specs!
Decision making....
Or is it because its a smart way to avoid taking up responsibility..probably so. So that when things go wrong, it will be the decision makers' fault. They will be free of responsibility. Or they might not want to decide because they have this mentality sub consciously. Or perhaps he/she wants u to decide to see whether your decision is in tune with what they have in mind. And they can slyly put it in such a way that you have to decide because its for your own good and its your responsibility to achieve that aim.
Sometimes its not a big deal to decide on many matters, but if one day you simple decide not to decide, for one reason or another, and the other person too takes his/her stand to not decide things too, nothing will happen. Right? Knowing that the other person have most of the times give in and make the decisions, despite seeing through all their plots on not wanting to make decisions, can't they for the very few times just say something to make things happen? It raelly sets me thinking why this cannot happen. Nothing happening is a small issue, but if it leads to animosity between them then its not worth it right?
Haiz..that being said..I think it can't be helped, these things will happen again..maybe we can blame it on horoscope or perhaps each other.
Still got 2 tutorials to prepare for tommorrow..sianz..

Life is not fair...
Its been abt 2 days now..i'm not really upset anymore..but the occasion thot of us being so near yet so far is really sianz..i might not show it on the face but sometimes when u see mi sigh for nothing, especially these few days..u can safely guess its this disappointment. sianz ah!!!
ok..enough abt soccer, just wanna share something very nice which happened to me last nite with you ppl..
I went to my honey's place ard 8+..after an arduous journey, which brings mi to the point..NEVER TRUST a women's advice on directions again!! she reccommended mi a bus ride to her place which took so many detours!! i would have saved abt prob 15 to 25 mins with the other route of advance.
back to the point..when i reached..i was greeted by a waitress(her tryin to act like one, quite cute though..haha)..very professional k..hehz..and was served a 3 course dinner!! a starter consisting of cheese wrapped in smoked salmon, den a beef bolognaise pasta and finally a fruity ice cream with yoghurt...it was a really wonderful nite..had a great time..went sauna too!! i love it..hehz
just wanna say thanks honey! i love you!!
ok..written long enuff..its abt time i leave for work..still have to shower and wax hair..
Ops Order received...
finally after almost 1 hr..in which i fell asleep for a little while..the prof finally had time for mi..she briefed mi on what i had to achieve for my fyp. It sounded simple enough..it was to synthesize 3 compound from a given starting material. but after that she said thatif i manage to achieve all 3 of them..it will be super good and she can do a publication for some engineering or science journal. i was so surprised man..imagine my name mentioned in there for all great engineers and scientists to read...haahaha...and if she decides to put my name down that is..
she said she'll be emailing me her instructions and some guide on how to do the experiments. havent got it though..and my next session is gonna be on wed..which is my free day..hope i dun burn the whole day..
FYP here I come!!!

Today is the DaY!!
all my mind is on now is abt the derby match between NUS and NTU later this evening..we might be in pole position to qualify needing just a draw and NTU needing a win..but i dun think it'll be this easy..i'm pretty sure NTU will slog it out with us to gain that victory. I guess i wun be playing a part today..but it doesnt really matter as those who are playing are really on form now..and most imptly is that we win..but rest assured i will be ready anytime if ever i am being called into action.
Have a lecture coming up soon..it reminds me that i have to start studying already..been really really slack for more than a wk..
Anyway..hope pple will come down to SRC to support us today..its 5.15pm at the main field.
